On 28th September 1985 I was living just off the north end of the Brixton road at the Oval in Kennington. I had been working on a design project all day from home and in the evening turned on the TV to see what appeared to be the grocers shop on the corner of my road being torched and looted.The following morning I went out at 8am to survey the damage. These pictures were taken on the length of the Brixton road.
